Peter Sallis | Wallace & Gromit

🧀 Correct me if I’m wrong, but many young adults don’t know about Wallace and Gromit. I feel fortunate to have grown up watching it. When The Curse of the Were-Rabbit premiered in movie theaters, I was thrilled. More of the world was going to experience the genius of Nick Park’s creation. To this day, my family quotes Wallace and mimics his signature hand gesture. ☕

🎬 Peter Sallis brought Wallace to life with his voice. Because of him, I will never say cheese the same way. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Peter for adding something special to my childhood. You will be dearly missed by the W&G community. 💕

RIP Christina Grimmie

Wise words from a young talent gone far too soon.  I must admit I didn’t follow Christina’s every move these past few years, but I did check in on her from time to time.  She is one of the first Youtubers I ever watched; once you hear her voice, you never forget it.  I was so happy for her when she blossomed from beloved Youtuber to 3rd place contestant on The Voice.  She deserved every success that God blessed her with.  Her death affected me in a way I did not expect, but I will save those feelings for another time.  I want this post to focus on Christina and the impression she left on her family, friends, & fans.  Let us not forget that she loved Jesus.  It is hard for those of us on earth to understand why it was her time to leave, but she is much happier now singing in Heaven.

To Christina’s family, friends, & fans: My heart and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.”  Matthew 5:4

This was a very busy week for me.  I am currently an unemployed, recent college graduate.  In other words, I have a lot of time on my hands. I decided to go full speed ahead and post one blog post and one Youtube video every day this week.  It was tough, and I didn’t always get to bed before midnight, but I did it.  Well, almost.  My Thursday blog post took longer than expected to complete therefore it was posted early Friday morning.  The point is I feel accomplished for the first time in a long time.  That is all I have to say for today.  I will post the links to all the blog posts and Youtube videos I posted this week.
